RainWater Harvesting Professional - The services we offer
-
Specification: You have initial architects' plans and you'd like to have RainWater Harvesting Ltd write a complete specification. In addition to the details requested in the form below we would be grateful to be able to see ground plans including invert levels in hardcopy by mail or in pdf form by email. In all probability we will contact you further to discuss your requirements and your preferences in respect of tank type, tank location, direct or gravity feed, and mains backup options.
-
Tank size calculation: We are always very keen to do the best job for you and this includes checking the storage tank size against the new British standard for rainwater harvesting BS 8515/2009. We will provide you with the Excel spreadsheet showing the data from which the tank size is drawn, and you can use it to make your own checks against, for example, the Code for Sustainable Homes and the BREEAM calculations. Please fill out the form (click here for the form) or email us the same information. You can also download the tank size calculator to make your own assessment.
-
Compliance: Note that if your building is being assessed for the Code for Sustainable Homes or BREEAM we cannot give you complete calculations because many of the appliances (in this case toilets and washing machines) vary in water usage from site to site. All our products are conceived and manufactured to BS 8515 - 2009 and WRAS standards including the A-A and A-B air gaps required. Our Rain Director® and Rain Backup in a Box® are both manufactured with WRAS compliant elements.
-
Quotation: We offer low, low prices as we handle high volume of tanks out of our Peterborough warehouse and Alconbury bulk store. You can request a long form quote with complete terms and conditions or a basic email spec and price. Most quotations come with the choice of one of three mains backup options a) simple mains backup (direct pumping to appliances and Rain Backup in a Box®, b) a rain manager with pump sucking from the tank and a mini header tank in a ground floor mounted console, or c) submerged pump and smart header tank controlled by the advanced Rain Director®. Ask for standard equipment or to your exact specification. Bulk discounts are available. Get a quote started here
